The Power of Surrender

It was a very humbling, yet extremely powerful experience today as I navigated a name change with Airlines today couple of hours before travel.

I spent 5 hours on the phone yesterday without any resolution.

I decided to stay calm, sleep well and take care of it at the airport.

At the airport, I was told they couldn't help with the name change and to call customer service for the nth time again

.

In my mind, I prayed that if it's for my highest and best to allow the universal forces to create miracles so I could proceed with my travel as planned.

I could sense a feeling of expansiveness within me as I explained my situation with the customer service again.

The CSR was not sure how to deal with it, yet took some time to talk to his supervisor and after holding me almost 30 minutes on the line finally gave me the good news that my name was successfully changed to my correct name.

And I can TRAVEL as planned!

Yay! What a sigh of relief!

The power of surrender speaks for itself

I told myself that it is my intense desire to travel, yet I would stay open to the universe's outcome of what unfolds for me

A friend reminded me the other day that the true meaning of meditation is to carry that presence into all our interactions and stay an observer no matter what goes on in the outside world.

It's so easy to say this,but being present in the midst of chaos is hardest and yet as I navigated this, I showed myself a new possibility and can always go back to this experience whenever I am in my survival mind.

I write this to impress upon you the power that is within you flows to the outside world and has the potential to remove any perceived problems that our limited mind cannot navigate.

Staying open to all outcomes even if it's not what we want is the key to staying calm and grounded.
