Be Authentic

Years ago, one of my close friends would blatantly lie to others about the city she was from in India.

When I enquired, she mentioned how she perceived that others would treat her differently if she said she was from a small town

This is just a tiny example which didn't make a lot of impact.

But, this speaks volumes to how much we try and manipulate the perception of others in order to be accepted.

The person you love is just a fragmented version of the person you created in your mind and so is the person you hate

You can never know anyone truly as much as you know oneself.

The level of acceptance you give another is the level of acceptance you give to yourself.

Authenticity demands us to accept all parts of ourselves without judgement.

If we allow ourselves to be authentic, we allow others to be themselves as well.

To live authentically is to live with freedom, to embrace yourself the way you are and strive to be better.

Authenticity is sexy!

Authenticity is cool.
